Isla de Maipo, with its alluvial soils and Mediterranean climate, offered the perfect conditions to craft classic wines in a fresh and elegant style.
Today, with more than 80 years of experience, the winery brings together the experience of the third generation of the family - represented by Pietro, Marco and Remo De Martino - with the dynamism and vision of the fourth generation - Marco Antonio and Sebastián De Martino - who, together with winemaker Nicolás Pérez, led the winery's projects.
The geography and local climates of Chile's wine regions are determined to a greater extent by proximity to mountains and the influence of the ocean than by latitude. Indeed, the geographical particularities of the country have created micro-climates within the different wine regions.

Then comes the Pais, grown mainly in the south of the non-irrigated country, mainly sold on the local market. the Carménère has become very popular in recent times, this variety originating from Bordeaux has found a climate and soils conducive to the development of this variety in Chile.
