Originally from Italy, the Amaretto takes its name from amaro which means bitter in Italian. The different components of this noble recipe give all its freshness and smoothness so particular to the Amaretto Joseph Cartron Liqueur. To the eye: deep topaz yellow color. There is a certain fluidity after stirring. The viscosity is quite dense and regular. On the nose: the nose offers fairly persistent notes of bitter almonds and remains fresh.
