WHISKEY MACNAMARA BLENDED SCOTLAND 40 ° 70CL
Mac Na Mara, his name means "the son of the sea".
Gaelic whiskeys were developed for Celtic-speaking communities on the Scottish Atlantic coast. They represent the attachment of a gentleman farmer, Sir Ian Noble, to the Gaelic traditions and its terroir where the Celtic culture and tradition is still very present. Its production is the most famous of "owner" whiskeys.
Mac Na Mara is a Blend whiskey aged 5 to 7 years. It is an original, virile Gaelic whiskey. A high proportion of malts with iodized flavors and a slightly peaty nose.
A very nice blend to consume between friends.
Such a fascinating Speyside single malt whiskey as one from the house of Benriach would not exist without a traditional and unique production method.
John Duff opened the doors of his new distillery on the site of the old Riach farm in 1898. A building of raw beauty, Benriach draws its water from the mineral-rich aquifer below the site.
A true treasure hidden in the heart of Speyside, Benriach sets itself apart by offering three types of whiskeys - classic unpeated whiskeys, peated Highland whiskeys and tri-distilled whiskeys - and multiple flavors thanks to an eclectic collection of barrels from the four corners of the world.

House of McCallum is a new collection of Scottish whiskeys designed by Antony McCallum, a maltster, blender and creator of exceptional whiskeys, with 24 years of experience in the Scotch whiskey industry.
The McCallum clan is one of the oldest noble clans in Scotland on the west coast of Scotland. The ancestors date back to some of the earliest kings of Scotland. King Malcolm I was the first King of Scotland to unite the two tribes, the Picts and the Scots into one kingdom, in order to defend Scotland from Anglo-Saxon invasions.
House of McCallum consists of two distinct ranges: the Art of Whiskey collection and the vintage Auld Alliance and Art of Rum collection.
A collection of rare barrels selected for their exceptional character and finished for some in old wine barrels of the Auld Alliance country and beyond. At the time, Scotland not only exported its whiskey to France, but also imported wine casks for consumption, which were then used to store whiskey.
A bit of history: The Auld Alliance, the former Scottish spelled Ald Allyance or Scottish Gaelic, An Seann-Chaidreachas), was a sealed alliance between the French and Scottish kingdoms. Even though 1560's Edinburgh Treaty was supposed to undo most of its features, the spirit of the treaty continued, Mary Queen of Scots refusing to ratify the treaty, and after that unwritten support remained in place. Scotland's historic ties to France and the rest of Europe have been in place since 1295 and will continue to mark the culture and future of this country.
The House of McCallum Vintage collection features barrels from different regions, different styles, some unique barrels and others distillates distilled on the same day and from the same still. Each bottle of each barrel is unique. Some are finished in handcrafted wine barrels selected from small wine producers and are handpicked by him.
