The 10 Year Old Quinta de Ervamoira follows the Tawny Reserva in the order of aging within the Tawnies family. It is a blend with an average age of around 10 years. We enter the world of complexity of an aged Tawny. Its brick-red or even golden colors carry us to the Orient spices, spicy and exotic aromas, shrouded in mystery. This is where the magical path opens to the 20 and 30 years. Its body and its wealth of tastes transport us to the place where it was born - the "Quinta de Ervamoira"! It is in this mystical, almost biblical landscape that this wine is torn from the shale, from the silence, for our greatest pleasure. White wine produced only with Greco grapes from three different vineyards located in as many municipalities of the province of Avellino and precisely: Montefusco, Tufo and Altavilla Irpina. The bunches are harvested manually and transported to the winery in small crates to avoid crushing the berries. The grapes are gently pressed in whole bunches to obtain the flowery must. Vinification and aging on fine lees for 4 months take place entirely in steel vats.

This small property specializing only with two wines made from the Malbec grape variety, has a few dozen hectares on the best terroir of Mendoza (more precisely in Lujan del Cuyo). These two wines are very successful with their balance between fruit and power.

Native to Altamira (1100 meters above sea level, limestone soils.), Vistaflores (1200 meters above sea level, limestone soils.) And Perdriel - Lujan de Cuyo (980 meters above sea level - intermediate floors .).
Vineyards: Over 50 years old
Harvest: Manual in plastic boxes of 17 kg.
Selection: Double selection of clusters and berries.
Maceration: 12 days at 8ºC.
Alcoholic fermentation: With indigenous yeasts for 17 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 27 and 29º C.

This wine comes from one of the oldest production areas in Napa, more precisely in the Lodi Valley.
This region, one of the first planted in California, boasts the highest concentration of old Zinfandel vines in the world.

The winery, which has nearly 70 hectares of vines, buys grapes from more than 1 smallholders on approximately 000 hectares.
It mainly contains Furmint and Hárslevelű aszú grains, but it also contains Zeta, Kabart, Fat Grapes and Yellow Muscat Aszú grains in smaller amounts. The base wine is 100% Furmint. The aszú grains were added to the fermented base wine and steeped for 24 hours. After pressing, it took place in the fermentation tank and the barrel. The aging in barrels takes place in our cellar in Szeg, where this wine is aged in barrels of 136 to 500 liters for at least 18 months.
