Cape Verde, a former Portuguese colony, located off West Africa.

Sodade was born out of friendship and a passion for rum. It is an invitation to travel within a mixed culture.
Jonathan has been a sugar cane alcohol enthusiast for many years.
This passion was transmitted by his paternal family of Creole origin and living in Martinique.

Authentic Cape Verdean grogue, pure cane juice. 100% bourbon red cane, terrace-grown and hand-harvested.
15 days of fermentation using wild yeasts of which Manuel Monteiro (the producer SODADE) has the secret.
Distillation with bagasse, in Cape Verdean "pot still" with a cut to keep only the heart of the toast.
The passage in ex-Madeira wine barrels for 42 months and the finish of 6 months in ex-Martinique agricultural rum barrels
brings subtle aromas of hazelnut wood and fruit.

Like the Original Version, Dark Reserve is the result of a happy meeting between the NAUD families - Master Distillers Charentais - and the owners of a sugarcane Hacienda in the Province of Herrera whose founder created the first mill to Panama sugar in 1908 and which would become the country's very first distillery in 1936. This long sugar tradition is reflected in the quality of the molasses rum selected for the Hidden Loot range. After two years of aging in Bourbon barrels, the rum is transported in high degree from the Caribbean Sea to our Atlantic coast. There it is enriched with fines spices and natural aromas such as bigarade orange or tonka bean, and subtly underlined by bird's eye pepper.

It is in Hoi An, on the central coast of Vietnam, that the Distillerie d'Indochine was founded in 2018 by three friends in love with Asia and above all passionate about spirits. Antoine, Ian and Julien combine more than 35 years of experience in the field of wines and spirits. Their attachment to Vietnam and their common passion for rum gave birth to the Distillerie d'Indochine. Located 15 km south of the city of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the distillery is between the sea and sugar cane fields, a place conducive to the production of pure cane juice rum which also offers optimal aging conditions.
