PORTO Quinta of Ervamoria RAMOS PINTO 10 YEARS
The 10 Year Old Quinta de Ervamoira follows the Tawny Reserva in the order of aging within the Tawnies family. It is a blend with an average age of around 10 years. We enter the world of complexity of an aged Tawny. Its brick-red or even golden colors carry us to the Orient spices, spicy and exotic aromas, shrouded in mystery. This is where the magical path opens to the 20 and 30 years. Its body and its wealth of tastes transport us to the place where it was born - the "Quinta de Ervamoira"! It is in this mystical, almost biblical landscape that this wine is torn from the shale, from the silence, for our greatest pleasure. Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca. Storage: Bottle upright, in a cool, dry place away from light Serving temperature: 16º to 18ºC - 3 Gold medals - International Wine Challenge, 1995/2004/2011, RU - 93/100 - Wine & Spirits Magazine, 2011, EUA - 92/100 - Wine Spectator Magazine, 2012, Kim Markus, EUALAMBRUSCO REGGIANO DOLCE PETTIROSSO
Lambrusco consists exclusively of the Lambrusco grape variety. The grapes are placed in tanks for fermentation.
Winegrowers do not wait until all the sugar is turned into alcohol to bottle the Lambrusco. Once locked, these residual sugars cause a second fermentation.
This gives a naturally sweet and slightly beading wine.
With its red dress and fine bubbles, the Lambrusco surprises.
Produced in the north of Italy, in the great plains of Emilie around Modena, this cuvée Pettirosso (Rouge Gorge) is a sweet wine (Dolce) slightly sparkling (frizzante).
The Willamette Valley begins at the Columbia River in Portland and extends south through Salem to the Calapooya Mountains near Eugene. The Coast Range marks its western boundary, and the Cascade Mountains border its eastern edge.
The climate here is generally mild, with cool, wet winters and hot, dry summers, although temperatures and rainfall vary as well.
The origins of Emilio Lustau SA date back to 1896, when Mr. José Ruiz-Berdejo, a secretary of the Court of Justice, began to cultivate the vineyards of the family's state, named Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, during his free time. In these humble beginnings, he made wines that were later sold to larger Sherry producers. This activity was known as an almacenista or breeder.
Sergio Martínez is responsible for all Lustau wines. After more than 14 years at the House, Sergio has led the winery's oenological team since 2016. Like his predecessors in this position, Sergio was recognized as the best fortified winemaker by the International Wine Challenge in 2019, for the third year consecutive.
In 1990, Fernando joined The House of Lustau as Master Blender and Quality Control Manager, responsible for overseeing the production process of Lustau vermouths and brandies from distillate to final product.
The vast experience Fernando has accumulated over a lifetime of dedication to spirits, liqueurs and fortified wines was reflected in his appointment in 2013 as a member of the Sherry Regulatory Board's Tasting Committee.
Pedro Ximénez grapes are laid out in the sun after harvest until they are practically raisins. After that, the fermentation starts slowly and stops to maintain all the natural sugars. The resulting wine ages for 12 years in contact with the air in Jerez de la Frontera.
Ebony color with iodized reflections. The aromas are reminiscent of figs, raisins and dates. Enormously soft, velvety and smooth on the palate, well balanced, with a very long finish.
Deantera farms and cultivates its lands, stretching from the Ionian to the Adriatic Sea, taking an innovative approach to Salento grapes and offering a fresh perspective on its territory.
It is the centuries-old story that has shaped its vineyards, giving its wines their distinctive structure, aromas and colors.
