Bas Armagnac Darroze Domaine Le Pouy 1983 50° 70cl

THE STORY BEGINS AROUND A TABLE WITH JEAN DARROZE AND HIS RESTAURANT IN VILLENEUVE-DE-MARSAN … In love with its South-West and its centuries-old tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy introduced his son Francis to the culinary arts, to great wines and to fine Gascon eaux-de-vie. From the end of the 60s, Francis Darroze intensified his visits to the Bas Armagnac terroirs, and quite naturally selected, aged and bottled his finest finds. The Armagnac Darroze house is born and begins the great adventure.

Armagnac darroze chateau de lasserade 1946 70cl

ARMAGNAC DARROZE CHATEAU DE LASSERADE 1946 40 °

Pretty bright color, gold. The nose is rising, marked by macerated fruits. In the mouth, the tannins are soft and silky. Beautiful aromatic length.

The low-Armagnacs Francis Darroze are "wild" eaux-de-vie, of an absolute richness, on the nose and in the mouth. Their colors vary from light amber, dark amber to waxed oak. They have an infinite aromatic palette, with impressive lengths, delicate notes of flowers, dried fruits, spices, honey and musk beyond the prune or candied fruit.
Aromas of prune, quince, hazelnut, vanilla, violet, linden, cinnamon appear over the years.

Pretty bright color, gold. The nose is rising, marked by macerated fruits. In palate, the tannins are soft and silky. Beautiful aromatic length.
