Vinogourmets welcomes you from Tuesday to Sunday to offer you a wide range of 2 "Philippines". Philippe Christian, sommelier in catering, notably with Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu, then manager of a cellar in Paris for 12 years, specializing in grands crus and rare vintages. It pays special attention to the selection of "Philippines" to present you the best quality and the best price.
Don Papa 10 Years Limited Edition is a blend of different rum casks over 10 years old. It is produced exclusively from sugar cane produced on the island of Negros. The molasses is rigorously selected to retain only the richest and sweetest. Distilled in a column still, the rum is then aged for ten years in reburnt American oak barrels which give it notes of oak and vanilla, characteristic of old rums. The intensity of its color is explained by the fact that the share of angels in the Philippines is one of the largest in the world and that the Philippines, by tradition, does not practice tooling. The amount of juice that the angels have given us left after 10 years is therefore very weak and deeply colored. The role of the cellar master in the elaboration of Don Papa 10 years of age is key.His talent goes beyond the art of blending.
True spearhead in its category of “New World” products, Don Papa 7 years, made from molasses, invites you to discover the island of Negros nicknamed Sugarlandia. This Filipino land, renowned for the cultivation of sugar cane, offers Don Papa rums the raw material necessary to develop its vintages of great aromatic richness.
Resolutely supple thanks to its aromas of vanilla and apricot, Don Papa also shows a beautiful liveliness punctuated by notes of mandarin and orange punctuated by cinnamon.
