In 1818, Maison Billecart-Salmon was born from the union of the spouses François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon. Today François and Antoine Rolland Billecart are at the head of the house. At their side Jean Rolland Billecart continues to watch over the family heritage.

Maison Billecart-Salmon embodies these rare family estates which, through their work, have built the “champagnes” myth. The independence of their family has allowed them to preserve consistency in the development of their champagnes with the key words: finesse, balance and elegance. Each generation has continued to propel into modernity a viticultural art resulting from nearly two centuries of experience.

CARTE D OR MAGNUM MUSTARD CHAMPAGNE

Domain Details
As early as the 1920 years, Camille Moutardier made her own champagne in the Surmelin Valley. Today, her granddaughter Élisabeth, her husband Jonathan Saxby and her son William are at the helm of these 18 hectares planted on hillsides, dominated by Pinot Meunier - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir each representing 2 hectares. These supplies are supplemented by purchases of grapes.

Comments
The wine is airy! The nose offers notes impregnated with bread, wood, brioche. The mouth is accentuated by a salinity appreciated. A straight and straight line, the wine is tapered and keeps an aromatic harmony on this same frame.

Description of the wine
The nose is intensely fruity. Citrus fruits (lemon, citron ...) and exotic fruits (pineapple, passion fruit ...) are blooming here. Then come touches of flowers (jasmine) and fleshy fruits (white peach, pink berry). Accurate, clean, the wine develops a subtle balance between roundness and suppleness in the mouth.

GOSSET GRAND ROSE MAGNUM CHAMPAGNE

CHAMPAGNE LARGE PINK Magnum

Comments
A blended rosé with a soft and fluid color, a petal color of salmon rose, embellished with some ruby-cherry reflections.
The nose clearly expresses the strawberry, in its fresh form as in that of jam or cooked fruit. A basket of ripe strawberries is mixed with a strawberry compote. A few lactic hints recall the youth of the wine.
The palate is structured while being in this constant balance between tension of freshness and roundness of fruit. It is dominated by the pulpiness of red fruit such as wild strawberries (cream or coulis) providing a soft and enveloping sensation. A champagne that looks accessible and simple in its youth, but maturing will preserve or even intensify its beauty.
Details Domain
At Champagne Gosset, for more than four centuries, everything has been done to perpetuate the know-how of a family craft in the development of our Champagne wines.
In 1584, Pierre Gosset, Alderman of Aÿ and winemaker, produced still wines, often red, with the harvest of his own vines. At the time, two wines competed for the place at the table of the kings of France: the wine of Aÿ and, a few hundred leagues further south, the wine of Beaune. Both were made from the same noble grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The reputation of the A d'wine was such that François 1er set up a vintage, a time property of the house Gosset. Then, in the eighteenth century, the wines of Aÿ and the region became effervescent.

Today, the wines are presented in an antique bottle, an exact reproduction of the one used since the 18th century by Champagne Gosset.
Malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided to preserve the malic acid which restores the naturally fruity aroma of the wines.
