Lafage Rouge Cuvée Nicolas Igp des Côtes Catalanes 2021 75 cl
Grenache grape variety
In the heart of Roussillon, the southernmost point of France, in a Catalan farmhouse made of old stones from the XNUMXth century, Domaine Lafage overlooks the road which connects Perpignan to the Mediterranean coast.
The Domaine's vineyard today extends over more than 350 hectares throughout Roussillon, from the Mediterranean shores of Canet en Roussillon, to the Pyrenean foothills of Aspres, via Maury.
Named after their son, this vintage comes from the terraced vineyards located at the foot of the Pyrenees, around the Aspres terroir, and from plots in the upper Agly valley. Schisto-marble soil, South/South-East exposure.
Aging in Burgundy barrels for 20% of the vintage for 10 months.
Igp Côtes de Gascogne Red Domaine de Cassaigne 2022 75 cl
Grape variety: Merlot, Syrah, Manseng Noir
A wine that pays homage to his descendants:
“Heart, panache and nobility” are the terms used by Henri Faget, the current owner of the Château de Cassaigne, to describe this exceptional heritage. The hearts of men, the panache of the winegrowers and the nobility of the terroir are found in this great wine.
The property extends over 28 hectares around the Château including an exceptional area of 12 hectares composed of outcropping limestone, particularly suitable for the production of great red wines.
IGP Oc Cabernet Sauvignon Les Jamelles 2022 75 cl
The Jamelles Marseillette Aude
The Cabernet Sauvignon Les Jamelles is a wine of character, rich, spicy and complex which combines the characteristics of this great grape variety with interesting terroir notes, while maintaining a certain elegance. This CABERNET-SAUVIGNON comes partly from vineyards located at foot of the mountains of the Cevennes, between Nîmes (terroir, spices) and Béziers (amplitude, roundness and fruit), and also of the Aude valley (structure, power, length).
Hilly vines (average altitude: 150 m), average age of 15 years. Size essentially in "goblet" (not trellised).
Relatively low yield of around 50 hectoliters / hectare. The soils are acidic with pebbles in the valleys, giving the wine a smoky note.
The Clos des Centenaires estate extends over 7 hectares, nestled in the heart of a hill dotted with rolled pebbles typical of the Villafranchiens region. The arrangement of the vines varies depending on their age and the variety cultivated: the young plants are arranged from north to south on a slope facing south-southwest, with a trellising system, while the older vines (Grenache , Syrah and Cinsault) are planted in cups on an east-west oriented slope, thus benefiting from an east-southeast exposure.
Located less than 2 km as the crow flies from the ponds of the Petite Camargue Nature Reserve and less than 20 km from the Mediterranean, our vineyard enjoys a climate of exceptional mildness and regularity. The prevailing winds, such as the Mistral from the north, and the thermal breezes, notably from the south-southwest and the sea breeze, contribute to a remarkable precocity of budburst and to temperate summers. This combination promotes a long period of progressive ripening of the grapes, thus providing ideal conditions for their optimal development.

IGP Oc Pinot Noir Les Jamelles 2023 75 cl
The Jamelles''Marseillette "Aude
Another example of the transfer of Catherine Delaunay's family know-how in the South of France. This wine, with the confidential production, contrasts with the received ideas on this grape variety outside its region of origin. To discover ... The Pinot Noir is a variety of northern origin, it is in the heights of the valley of Aude, on the foothills of the Pyrenees that we selected our vineyards. The freshness, the warmer temperatures and the precipitations, allow to avoid a too fast maturity. These vines have an average age of 10 years. They are cut in "Cord of Royat" (trellised) and "Guyot" (trellised). The yield is relatively low. It is in the range of 50 hectoliters per hectare. The soils are clay-limestone on the terraces, close to the original soils of this grape variety.
